Under this movement, martial arts programs are integrated into schools, colleges, and police training to instill discipline, focus, and strength. The initiative also supports stress management, fitness awareness, and holistic well-being. With expert trainers and structured courses, Fit India Martial Arts plays a crucial role in building a stronger, healthier, and more self-reliant nation.


About Chairman
Arvind Rana is a 8th-degree black belt in karate from Gandhinagar, Gujarat, and serves as the Chairman of Fit India and Chief Technical Director of Wado Kai Karate-Do Federation of India. He has trained over 800,000 girls in self-defense through the Karate Federation in Gujarat. He played a key role in developing the self-defense syllabus for the Gujarat Police’s Suraksha Setu Project.
As a speaker, he has conducted numerous lectures on stress management and memory enhancement under the Gujarat Education Board. He authored two books on stress management and academic success. An expert in Pineal Gland Activation (Third Eye), he is conducting research at Patanjali University. Additionally, he is the Editor of Capital Kranti newspaper, a Rotary Club leader, and a trustee of Vedic Parivar and Sarvottkarsh Seva Sansthan.

The mission of the Fit India Movement is to inspire every Indian to adopt a healthier lifestyle by incorporating regular physical activity, balanced nutrition, and mental well-being into their daily routine. Launched on August 29, 2019, by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the movement aims to create awareness about the benefits of fitness and encourage small yet impactful lifestyle changes. It seeks to integrate fitness into schools, workplaces, and communities by promoting structured programs, fitness challenges, and wellness policies. By reducing the prevalence of lifestyle diseases such as obesity, diabetes, and hypertension, Fit India strives to build a healthier and more productive nation. The ultimate goal is to make fitness a national priority, encouraging every citizen to take responsibility for their well-being and contribute to a stronger, healthier India.


About General Secrectary
Rakesh Saini is a highly skilled martial artist with expertise in multiple disciplines. He began his training with Sarvadeshik Arya Veer Dal, mastering Nunchaku, commando training, rifles, and advanced weaponry. He holds a Niyudhmacharya degree and a 2nd Dan Black Belt in Karate, trained under Arvind Rana (8th Dan Black Belt).
He trained in Wushu under Ajit Kumar (Canada), Taekwondo under Mohd. Yamin, and Kickboxing (4th Dan Black Belt) under IAKO President SS Harichandan. He also earned a Black Belt in Jeet Kune Do under AAIJF President SL Gihara and received the National Diamond Award from The Great Khali.
Currently, he serves as General Secretary of FIT INDIA Martial Arts School Games Federation, an international judge, referee, and coach, with experience in World Martial Arts Council Games (2015) and WAKO Asian events.
